This table was commisioned by a client in Dublin and the brief was to create a modern dining table with clean lines, peerless simplicity, and be aptly sized for its intended space.
The design was based around the client's requisite of an oval glass tabletop with a pedestal-like leg arrangement.
The four individual legs and their relative positions establish a support structure for the glass table top while their shape brings form to the overall design.
Each leg was hand carved from solid White Oak. The wood was bored out to allow bespoke hand turned Aluminium leg mounts to be recessed into the top of each leg.
